My cosmic vibrations were a bit too much for her. I was always knocking over coffee cups and scaring small animals/children. “The beach is lovely this time of year.” She said with Cold War brilliance exploding on her face. “Where are my Pall Malls?” I asked from dark-tinted fortifications. “Blowin’ in the wind.” She replied with pretencious intentions. “Groovy.” I then went back to my typewriter machinegun. “Chilly?” Enquiring minds wanted to know, namely my own. “Somewhat.” Came her vague response. “Excellent” Came mine.
Bat Country began to prey on my nerves as the planes flew lower and the ships drew closer. My Tommy Gun roared as she asked “When will you end the human suffering?” I thought for a minute, then said through gritted teeth “When the Life czar tells us what we’re doing here.”
